5e Prisma Groep Amsterdam Nieuw-West bijeenkomst 2019 met Maria Luna Obcial en Kaneesha Nadal

Hoi allemaal,

Woensdagavond 27 november is de vijfde bijeenkomst van Prisma Groep Amsterdam Nieuw-West. Wij hebben dan twee biculturele LHBTQI+ vrouwen als gastsprekers: Kaneesha Nadal & Maria Luna Obcail. Hieronder meer informatie over hen:

- Kaneesha Nadal is biseksueel, komt uit Sint-Maarten, christelijke achtergrond en studeert Life Sciences and Technology. Kaneesha is bestuurslid van Stichting Prisma Groep en zet zich al jaren in voor de emancipatie van biculturele LHBTQI+.

- Maria Luna Obcial komt uit de Filipijnen, is een activist, lokale coördinator voor Nederland en sociale media manager voor the Filipino LGBT Europe Foundation. Houdt van sport en heeft een relatie met een vrouw.

Uiteraard zal er ook de mogelijkheid zijn om vragen te stellen en eventueel de dialoog aan te gaan.

Het is belangrijk dat jullie je aanmelden, op tijd komen, blijven tot 22.00 uur en anderen respecteren (o.a. door naar elkaar te luisteren). We hebben namelijk veel bezoekers en dan is het juist nog belangrijker om rekening met elkaar te houden.

Als er bijzondere omstandigheden zijn dan kan je altijd contact met ons opnemen voor hulp vanuit Veilige Haven Utrecht, of om bijvoorbeeld aan te geven dat je niet op tijd kan komen of eerder weg moet gaan. Hopelijk tot volgende week donderdag.

Hello everyone,

Wednesday evening November 27 is the fourth meeting of Prisma Groep Amsterdam Nieuw-West. We have two bicultural LGBTQI+ female guest speakers: Kaneesha Nadal & Maria Luna Obcial. See below for more information about them.

- Kaneesha Nadal is bisexual, comes from St. Maarten, has a Christian background and studies Life Sciences and Technology. Kaneesha is a board member of the Prisma Groep Foundation and has been committed to the emancipation of bicultural LGBTQI + for years.  - Maria Luna Obcial is from the Philippines, is an activist, local coordinator for the Netherlands and social media manager for the Filipino LGBT Europe Foundation. Loves sports and is in a relationship with a woman.

Of course, there will also be room for questions and to go into dialogue with each other.

It is important to sign up, to be there on time, to stay till 10 p.m. and to respect each other (for example by listening to each other). We have many visitors, so it is very important to take each other into consideration.

If there are special circumstances, you can always contact us for help from Veilige Haven Utrecht, or to indicate, for example, that you cannot arrive on time or must leave earlier. Hope to see you next Thursday.
