Hoi allemaal,
Donderdagavond 4 april is er weer een bijeenkomst van de Prisma Groep. Deze keer is het een open bijeenkomst, je mag vrienden, kennissen en/of familieleden meenemen, ook als ze geen biculturele LHBTQI+ zijn. Laat ons wel weten wie je wilt meenemen, het is belangrijk dat diegene respectvol is. Ook i.v.m. de veiligheid in de breedste zin willen wij weten wie je eventueel meeneemt.
Deze keer is het onderwerp allianties, en gaan wij het hebben over het steunen van elkaar in onze 'strijd'. Over uitdagingen hierin, zoals discriminatie, islamofobie, transfobie, homofobie, xenofobie, seksisme en intersectionaliteit.
Dit zijn onze panelleden:
- Naeeda Aurangzeb, Nederlandse/Pakistaanse, heteroseksueel, journalist, die werkzaam is voor o.a. radio en t.v. Naeeda is 44 jaar.
- Jose Manuel van Grinsven, Spaanse Nederlander, heteroseksueel, dubbelbloed, maatschappelijk werker, gastdocent hogeschool van Amsterdam over sociale uitsluiting, vooroordelen en discriminatie. Jose is 35 jaar.
- Judith Ndukwu is lesbisch, Nigeriaans/Nederlands, een vluchteling en een mensenrechtenactivist. Ook is ze projectleider bij Stichting Prisma Groep. Judith is 31 jaar.
Uiteraard zal er ook de mogelijkheid zijn om vragen te stellen en eventueel de dialoog aan te gaan.
Het is belangrijk dat jullie je aanmelden, op tijd komen, blijven tot 22.00 uur en anderen respecteren (o.a. door naar elkaar te luisteren). We hebben namelijk veel bezoekers en dan is het juist nog belangrijker om rekening met elkaar te houden.
Als er bijzondere omstandigheden zijn dan kan je altijd contact met ons opnemen voor hulp vanuit Veilige Haven Utrecht, of om bijvoorbeeld aan te geven dat je niet op tijd kan komen of eerder weg moet gaan. Hopelijk tot volgende week donderdag.

Thursday evening April 4 there will be another meeting of the Prisma group. This time the meeting is an open meeting. That means you can bring your friends, family and acquaintances, even if they are not a bicultural LGBTQI+. Let us know who you want to bring to the meeting. It is important that this person is respectful. Also because of the safety on all different levels, we want to know who you want to bring.
During this meeting the subject is about alliances. We are going to talk about supporting each other in our 'struggle'. About challenges, such as discrimination, Islamophobia, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia, sexism and intersectionality.
These are our panel members: - Naeeda Aurangzeb, Dutch / Pakistani, heterosexual, journalist, working for radio and television. Naeeda is 44 years old.
- Jose Manuel van Grinsven, Spanish / Dutch, double-blooded, heterosexual, social worker, guest teacher at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences on social exclusion, prejudice and discrimination. Jose is 35 years old.
- Judith Ndukwu is a lesbian, Nigerian / Dutch, refugee and a human rights activist. She is also project leader at Stichting Prisma Groep. Judith is 31 years old.
Ofcourse, there will also be room for questions and to go into dialogue with each other.
It is important to sign up, to be there on time, to stay till 22:00 h and to respect each other (for example by listening to each other). We have many visitors, so it is very important to take each other into consideration.
