Hoi allemaal,
Woensdagavond 19 februari is de derde bijeenkomst van Prisma Groep Amsterdam Nieuw-West 2020. Deze keer is Soula Notos onze gastspreker.
Soula Notos is een Nederlands-Griekse komiek, actrice, theatermaker en storyteller die haar
eerste lange theatrale stuk 'Wie ben jij als niemand kijkt' heeft geschreven waarin ze expressieve, energieke, poëtische verhalen vertelt over zelfspot over het opgroeien met verschillende labels en hoe je ermee om kunt gaan zonder je verstand te verliezen.
A humorous and touching story about migration (Een humoristisch en ontroerend verhaal over migratie).
Het is een verhaal van niet alleen een persoonlijke reis, maar ook een universeel verhaal over het proberen van een plek te vinden onder de zon. Wie bepaalt of je bij een groep hoort of niet? Wat weet je echt van iemand anders? En waarom danst de één als een gek en moet de ander 3 drankjes drinken voordat er iets in beweging komt. Met andere woorden: in welke verhalen woon je? Welke verhalen vertelden ze je thuis? Wat fluisterden je ouders in je oor toen je bang was? Wie ben jij als niemand kijkt?
Tijdens de Prisma-bijeenkomst zal ze een deel van dit solostuk optreden.
Uiteraard zal er ook de mogelijkheid zijn om vragen te stellen en eventueel de dialoog aan te gaan.
Het is belangrijk dat jullie je aanmelden, op tijd komen, blijven tot 22.00 uur en anderen respecteren (o.a. door naar elkaar te luisteren). We hebben namelijk veel bezoekers en dan is het juist nog belangrijker om rekening met elkaar te houden.
Als er bijzondere omstandigheden zijn dan kan je altijd contact met ons opnemen voor hulp vanuit Veilige Haven Utrecht, of om bijvoorbeeld aan te geven dat je niet op tijd kan komen of eerder weg moet gaan. Hopelijk tot volgende week woensdag.

Wednesday evening February 19 is the third meeting of Prisma Groep Amsterdam Nieuw-West 2020. This time Soula Notos is our guest speaker.
Soula Notos is a Dutch -Greek comedian, actress, theatermaker and storyteller who has written her first long theatrical piece “Who are you when no one is looking” in which she tells expressive, energetic, poetic stories full of self-mockery about growing up with different labels and how to deal with them without losing your mind.
A humorous and touching story about migration
It's a recount of not only a personal journey, but also a universal story about trying to find your place under the sun. Who decides if you belong to a group or not? What do you really know about another person? And why does one person dance like crazy and the other needs to have 3 drinks before something starts moving at all. In other words: in which stories do you live? What stories did they tell you at home? What did your parents whisper in your ear when you were afraid? Who are you when no one is looking?
At the Prisma meeting she will perform a part out of this solo piece.
Of course, there will also be room for questions and to go into dialogue with each other.
It is important to sign up, to be there on time, to stay till 10 p.m. and to respect each other (for example by listening to each other). We have many visitors, so it is very important to take each other into consideration.
